Compass Environmental Consultancy is a family-run business specialising in managing environmental risk. Along with consultancy and risk management, training forms one of our core services. We are a key supplier of training to the spill response industry as well as delivering to companies wishing to develop an in-house first response capability
The Role
We are looking for ad-hoc trainers across the UK to join our team! You will be responsible for delivering our suite of spill training courses to companies across your region. In the past we’ve delivered training for cheese makers, aeroplane manufacturers, defence organisations, film studios and shampoo factories - offering a varied place to work each day!
Supported by an admin team at our headquarters in Theale, we can provide you with the tools necessary to deliver a complete training package.
We currently deliver 20-25 courses across the country each month, so this role is ideal for somebody who has perhaps recently retired and is looking to be out of the house a few days a month!
Responsibilities
Deliver our suite of training courses to Compass clients
Liaise with site contacts to ensure the successful and smooth delivery of our training
Requirements
At least 5+ years of training experience in a related field
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Confident in using essential presentation tools such as Powerpoint
Excellent organisation skills
Ability to travel across your region
A full UK Drivers Licence
Operational experience of managing spillages desirable
